How do you see this date playing out in your head? What is the goal?

Maybe too late for your date, but I wrote a guide on first dates recently. PM me if you need help.

-Finding Something to Do

If you are new to dating, or not super active, then you don't know of many places in your area for fun activities. That's fine. Stick to dinner and a walk, and move to the all important step.

-Use The Cube

If you haven't heard of this already, then you're welcome. Ask your date if they'd like to play a fun personality test game (you already know the answer). Then, have them picture a desert. Now ask them to picture a cube in the desert. Then, a ladder. Then, a storm. Then, a horse. And finally, flowers. Playing this game will not only entertain them, but it will teach YOU how to be creative and entertaining in conversation. Now, based on their answers, you simply interpret to the best of your ability, what each image might mean about them.

The Desert - Represents how they see the world.

The Cube - How you see yourself.

The Storm - How you view your troubles, or impending trouble.

The Horse - Your potential lover.

The Flowers - Your children, or potential children.

If they ask where you heard about this game, then tell them. People who are awesome appreciate other people who are trying to improve their awesomeness A LOT. It will open up an entire conversation filled with honesty and connection. Try to avoid bringing up anything too traumatic if you start talking about negative things in your lives.

-Pay Attention to Signals and Body Language

After you've had a nice walk, it's time to sit on a bench. Test the waters and let your legs touch. Do they move closer? Do they move away? If you really want to make it easy, ask if you can read their palms and just make it up as you go. If you keep getting positive signals, then ALWAYS go for the kiss. If a first date doesn't end in kissing, you might as well have taken your best friend out. If things are really heating up, then OF COURSE just ask if they want to watch a movie at your place. That is a great time to get some feedback as to how things are going no matter the answer.

Text your suitor ONCE after the date is over. Just a short text to say you had a good time. Don't try to make plans for the second date, or write an essay about how great it was. You got this.

I'm no expert but I've heard that its best if you sit next to her rather than opposite her. Hope this helps and good luck.
