I wanted to run this date idea by the folks of seddit and see what everyone's thoughts are.

I'm struggling because: - It is still cold here, so it's tough to spend a ton of time outside right now. - The date is going to begin at 8 PM, and where I live, almost everything shuts down at 9. - Drinking is not an option.

So, here's what I've been tossing around so far:

  • Depending on whether I pick her up or meet up with her, stop by a new juice bar, or by a funky milkshake place. We can eat/drink as we drive.

  • Go to a life sciences (dead animals) museum, which closes at 9.

  • Stop by Starbucks in the local Barnes & Noble, and grab hot chocolate while roaming around. (B&N closes at 10.)

  • Stop by a local duck pond and feed the ducks.

This is a first date, but we are pretty comfortable about each other.

My concern is that having both the museum and bookstore in there creates a redundancy of "let's talk about things we're looking at." I like ending up at the duck pond, where it will be fairly private and cold; and I also like being able to head to three separate venues, or less if I feel like ending things earlier.

Any thoughts or tips? Any important relevant information I've ommitted that would be helpful?

Thanks!
