Been lurking on here for a few months but never really got into action. I've got good social skills, good self-confidence, I think I'm pretty good-looking; none of that's really an issue for me. My main problem is that I really have trouble assuming attraction and viewing myself as a sexual sort of being. I guess that's my biggest weakness.

Anyways, I was planning on chatting up a girl in my night class tonight, but first I bumped into an acquaintance who I hadn't seen in a few years. We used to train at the same tennis academy when we were younger. Not good friends or anything, but friendly enough I suppose. Always had a big crush on her. So it was right after I got a haircut and was wearing nice clothes and basically just looking fly as fuck, and I bump into her. She smiles and says hi, and we catch up. Just talk about the usual bullshit. She's with her friend and they're both smiling at me and stuff. I wasn't doing any kino (bad), but I tried to stay conscious of posture and not fiddling around too much (basically just having more alpha body language), and did a really good job with eye contact. Anyways, so we're talking for a while, and I wanted to leave, so I decide to take off while we're at a high part in our conversation (good), but I didn't even ask for her number. I was super pissed at myself after this. It's true what they say about making it a habit. I'm really upset with myself, because I think she would've been interested. We leave in sort of the same neighborhood, so there might be a slim chance that I bump into her again, but I'm mad that I lost a golden opportunity.

That said, I definitely was motivated to go after the girl in my class. Walk and sit right next to her and start chatting her up immediately. We chat through the second half of the discussion group and while we're parting ways I suggest coffee after class next week. She says yes.

Notes and errata:

-Don't waste an opportunity. Once I was chatting up the first girl, we had some momentum. I have a feeling that even if we bump into each other again, it'll be tough to get back to that level of conversation. Chance might've been lost.

-Try to engage in at least some kino. I think that that would be a good place to start in terms of getting to be seen more sexually.

  • Related to this is maybe I should have gone for a hug right off the bat? I didn't think we were really close enough for that, so maybe would have been weird. I don't really like hugs. I kind of just view it as like being to pussy to go for a kiss, so I have a tough time seeing how they fit in.

-Be more flirty. I'm pretty witty, but sometimes I just get stuck. Small talk is cheap. All you really get is canned answers. Better to talk about something interesting and go from there I'm thinking.
