Hello Seddit. Long time lurker, first FR.

So last night (NYE), my friend and I hosted a party at his house, with a good amount of people coming. However, many of these people came as couples and one of the people who came was my ex. No matter, just planning on having a good night.

At first, I'm on point. I'm talking to the whole room, getting everyone involved and exchanging names. I open this one set of people with an HB 6 whom I was able to get next to me with the old "it's too loud" bit . I was chatting her up, constant eye contact from the both of us, but somewhere through out the night, she went cold. My theory is she found out my ex was there and they're friends apparently. Can't win em' all.

Next, this 2 set (HB 7 and 7) come in and I'm killing it with the first one. She's giggling, real close , lots of kino, but she drops that she has a boyfriend when I go in for the move. I backed off and kept the mood light still, but I feel like picking which one to flirt with is a gamble because I basically shot my chances with the other 7 since she saw me hitting on her friend. Is this correct?

Finally, the night ended at 5 am with people staying the night, but no one single got any. I had a lot of fun though, so it wasn't a bad night to say the least.
