Just graduated high school man. You don't need to be the life of the party, that's how you end up beating yourself up.

Instead, try talking to people, starting conversations, and having fun with those people. You might see a "cooler" group somewhere else. Don't go there. Have fun with the people you're with and people will see that energy and join you.

Some tips: love yourself man. Everyone in high school is insecure. If you think you're a big deal, others will too. Remember to respect people too and you will have a time.

Alcohol is fun but you don't need it for game. Especially if you're young. Being the sloppy drunk will make you feel bad about yourself.

Have fun, dude. You're in high school. The quicker you learn the "cool" kids that exclude others are cunts, the quicker you'll have a good time.

Don't drink to much, and only give a shit about having fun. Period. Don't think about girls or anything like that, just what will make you happy.
