So I went to a concert today. It had couple entry at a discount, so two chicks had come with me, just friends of mine, no chemistry whatsoever, but it did boost my confidence, and while I had other friends there, the 3 of us were dancing separately for the most part. Despite it being clear that there is no chemistry there whatsoever, I felt conscious to look at other chicks...nonetheless, I felt like I caught one chick looking at me when I wasn't looking at her because I'd catch glimpses of it while turning in my dance, and while Im no great dancer I dressed well and acted freely and confident. Then while passing by her, I believe I sensed her searching for eye contact. She was wearing a real cool T-shirt which I really wanted to comment on, I even thought of saying "it would look really good on my floor" but I gave myself this BS excuse that it would be rude to the 2 chicks with me to hit on someone else. She was also dancing alone, this I had noticed for hours, around 3 or 4.

So I end up regretting not taking that shot all evening. I do feel grateful that at least I got 2 chicks to come to a concert with me, at least, because Ive also not had female friends in a long time, and well gratitude keeps me from depression. Btw Im a virgin, but I have definitely caught women staring at me on many occasions, one of them I straight up exchanged smiles bordering on laughs with, and then I fucking looked away like a little bitch. Some really hot ones too. One of my friends straight up started dancing with another chick and she just shook her head real hard at him so as to say no, and he smiled and blew it off like it never happened. Fucking envy that guys balls. I think, or like to think, I have some level of attractiveness in my general happiness and attitude, and I'm not very well built, skinnier side, but I work out whenever I can and don't have body issues, well not often.
My main problem is growing a fucking pair and cold approaching. I have cold approached girls in the past, and while of course majority were just rejections, there were girls I ended up instantly making plans with and meeting the next day, dancing with, some even found me on facebook and added me. It helps to judge who's approachable as well. But it's always had a friendly undertone to it, not much flirting ever really. Which I also think is fine in some cases, but it leaves me frustrated.
Now thanks to this shit, I found a reason to complain about what was otherwise a really fun concert. Im just way too conscious about getting rejected, Im being fucking fragile.
I just wanted to vent, but any feedback is appreciated.
And one main question is: when you do get the balls to cold approach, do you try to act like your talking to a regular person, like a guy friend, or do you just keep hitting on them however smoothly you can? I would guess its a mix of both, I tend to do purely the former rn, not worked great but I could be unlucky or another ton of factors
