So I've been reading this subreddit for the past year and it's helped me out tremendously with my inner game, though my outer game could still use some work.

Anyways, I've been hooking up with a couple girls for the past month. One of these girls (gf material) texts me on Saturday and wants to hang out when she's back from A trip. So she comes over today and I think I'm in for some fun time. When she gets here, she's a little apprehensive and says we need to talk. Basically, she said is a bad person and her and her ex had a "talk".

At this point, "old me" would have tried to tell her I wanted to be with her and shit and that I'm better than her ex. I probably would have talked to her and tried to win her back too at some point in the future. "New me" says to myself fuck it, do your thing. I told her we weren't in a relationship and she could do what she wants. She tells me "ok", says "we should stop talking" and leaves.

I say this is a setback only because I kind of liked the girl, but fuck it she isn't worth my time. I deleted her number and now it's on to continuing to improve myself. Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit, just wanted to share.
