Long time lurker here. I picked up Niel Straus The Game 4 weeks ago and 2 weeks ago I executed my first cold approach.

This was on a bus. The hardest part was collecting the courage to just walk up and say hi. As soon as she had entered the bus I noticed something. It was the bright smile, something fun must have happened, right? This created an intimate topic for me to ask about. So instead of saying hi immediately I started to ask about why she was so happy and went on from that, bringing new topics in as it went on. Questions about if she was new in town, why I haven't seen here before on this bus etc... We jumped off on the same station and went the same way. She lived about 800 feet away from me. Right about at her doorstep I managed to say that she were interesting to talk to and would like to meet her again someday, so we changed numbers.

This is my first post here and the reason I'm writing it is because of how everything becomes easier with the approach. Make the leap now...
