I'm a 22 year old guy going to college. The other week I notice a girl in one of my chem classes. I decided I would ask her out. I had never asked a girl out with a cold approach. I talked to her after class one day and got to know her just a bit then the next week while walking to our cars after class i asked her on a date. she said yes and I was ecstatic. I asked when would be good for her and she said that she was busy that week so i got her number and said that we would do it next week. the next week she said that she was working again, I said that it wasn't a problem. The next week were finals and she had mentioned that the class was hard so I proposed that we study together she said yes and when it came time for it she bailed out last second having to pick up her sister. she told me to just go home. I was a bit upset about it seeing how we haven't had a chance for a good one on one conversation yet. but figured that after school was all done that we could set up a date. its been a week now and she won't respond to my texts. I told her that if she still wants to go on that date to text me. anyway is there any way that i could have made it work out. I would like to know so that I don't make anymore mistakes like it. I feel like a pretty confident fun guy. I don't like that I wasn't able to show her that.
