Went to a bar tonight with a friend of mine. Wasn't exactly completely hyped on going due to the fact that I'm broke, kind of shy until drunk, and didn't know anyone else there. It seemed pretty busy for a Sunday night; they had a dance floor/rave kind of place in the back where people danced. After feeling slightly tipsy, me and friend, and his friend who I had gotten comfortable with went back there to dance. I was feeling good so far, had lots of laughs with them. When a slower song came on where I decided to grab a random girls hand and dance with her. She was Russian and me american, so including the music it was tough to differentiate what was being said. She blushed and all as we dance cause it was obvious this was kind of a random act of dancing. We attempted to chat a bit,, asking each others names and where we worked. I can't exactly say or point out what I said that might have caused her to be scared away, cause by the end, I asked for her number and she decided to go rejoin her friends. We had a small hug and left each other.

This was a first for me, probably the first of even attempting to talk to a girl/pick up. Sorry for the less than average descriptiveness, but could anyone think of any problems?
