I'm pretty new to my current spot (suburbs, East Coast), and, what's more, is I have a fairly irregular work schedule. There are a healthy handful of bars in the area, but not so much for reliable wingmen (at least for the immediate future).

At 23, my experience has been with the college crowd in college spots in a group-oriented environment. That said, what advice/info/experience is there to share about working solo? Is is any different? How do I establish credibility? Educate a young'n.
