Preselection works best when you're not trying to use it as a technique.

If you're purposely talking to other girls to get the attention of the girl you actually want thats not really preselection.

What preselection would look like is if you were hanging out with your boys and some girls spoke with you a bit but you brushed them off to hang out with your boys.

It looks natural and organic. Preselection works best when you're not thinking about it.
