This is a follow-up to my wall of text here

If you can't be bothered to read that, then: I met this hot Thai girl at a uni party, we kind of kissed twice, and danced loads.

There was about a week left until Christmas and we both had separate plans out of the city, so I didn't have many options with regard to how to meet her again, so via text I invited her out to do some Christmas shopping. She agreed, and remained very playful over text.

We meet up, and to cut out the non-important stuff: We went shopping, had lunch and I failed to physically escalate beyond the fairly low levels. In fact, when I think about it, I acted almost exactly as a friend would have done in such a situation.

To make matters worse, at one point she called someone (she'd previously asked my permission) and before she called I believe she whispered 'kiss me' under her breath, but I was too chicken to do it (we weren't really alone at any point). So we went back, and I walked her to some dinner party near my house (she wasn't too sure where it was) and one of her seniors joined us right at the end so I couldn't really try anything there.

This is where it gets even more fun!! I went home knowing I totally fucked up, and she was going on holiday for 9 days the day after, so I had to try something. Waiting 9 days would guarantee fail, so I asked a friend and the best idea we could agree on was: for me to walk to the place where she's at, and text her 'come outside' and kiss her then basically walk off. This didn't require as much balls as I had imagined, but I did it!

She actually didn't read her text, but after about 10 mins I saw her senior and I asked him to ask her to come outside. At one point there were about 8 people congregating in front of the door and I was thinking 'fuck, do I really have the balls do try this in front of all these people?'. But it was pretty cold outside, so they soon went in. A few minutes later she comes out alone, I walk up and go for the kiss...

She steps back... fuck! And to not make this a wall of text, she says we're just friends, and we left on good terms.

I'm really glad I tried the last part, because waiting at least 9 days to see her again only to find that out would have sucked even more. It also reminds me about the consequences of not escalating! I'd rather not have to try that again.
