Hey guys, first FR here.

I'm a 19m. Me and my family took a trip to the beach for July 4th. It was me, my bother (16), my mom, and my dad. So we're chilling on the beach, just hanging out. Getting in the water, throwing frisbee on the beach. Just hanging out. We saw a 2 groups of cute girls set up near us, but my AA was kicking in and I kept getting too nervous to approach.

Eventually I build up the courage to approach one of the groups of girls with my brother to ask them if they wanted to throw some frisbee. The fact that we were heading back to the hotel in about an hour also put a time pressure on which helped. The group was an HB8, HB7, and 2 HB5's. They were a little unsure at first, but my brother just persisted in saying it would be fun and they all agreed.

So we're throwing frisbee and I'm just asking questions like "What school do you go to?" "Where are you girls from?" They turned out to be locals. We moved together and stopped throwing frisbee. So I asked what other beaches they liked, what fun stuff there is to do around. This got us into the topic of clubs and drinking. I thought the conversation was going pretty well.

Then comes my big mistake. I decide it's time me and my brother head back to see my parents since we were getting ready to ditch soon. I tell them we have to go (I wanted to be the one to break contact) and we leave. I didn't have my phone on me and I didn't make plans later to meet up. Rookie mistake.

I tried to catch them later to make plans, but they left to go somewhere for a long time. Eventually I just wrote on paper "We were unimpressed with your frisbee skills. Show us a fun time tonight." and left my name and number. I put it under a soda can filled with sand on their beach towels and left and hoped for the best. Nothing came of it, but I was still happy with my approach and conversation skills.

Sorry if this is all over the place or lacking details. This is my first FR and I'm kinda in a rush.

TL;DR Approached some girls at the beach to throw frisbee. Had a good conversation but failed to meet up later that night.
