I was waiting for some friends to meet up with me and it was around 1:30AMish outside of this bar. My friends finally show up so I walk with them and pass this HB7 as we cross the street. I tap her on the shoulder and say "I'll see you later" and kind of laugh it off with my friends as I was obviously just trying to be funny.

We get to our destination (another bar) and maybe 15 minutes later, that same girl walks in with her friend. I didnt notice her, so she approached me and said "Looks like I'll be seeing you!". I laugh it off and we strike up a conversation for about 20 minutes or so. After my friends decide to leave, I tel her that I'm going but that she should give me her number so we can chat more another day. She gives it to me but I decide for some drunken reason to try and be firm/agressive. I dial the number immediately (pretending to also give her my number at the same time but really I'm just checking to see if she gave me a fake number or not). I say bye and give her a quick kiss on the cheek which she clearly wasn't ready for. I walked away instantly after doing so.

I don't regret doing the stupid kiss on the cheek but realized it may of came off as being creepy. Anyways, I figure I'll wait a few days before getting a hold of her. Waited 2 days and just texted her tonight. Me: Hey what are you up to tonight? Her: Who is this? (Bad sign instantly as I know for a fact she would of at least had my # in her recent calls. She clearly didn't save the number nor was she expecting me to contact her. She could have just been drunk, but I didn't realize her drinking much so I'm not sure) Me: Sorry NAME, It's yiggity_yag. we met at BAR1/BAR2 the other night and was seeing if you wanted to catch a drink tonight at BAR1. (With this text, I was trying to be assertive. I know that more texts is a bad thing and you shouldn't try to get to know someone through a text. My objective her was to use her name so she knew it was her I wanted to contact. Clearly identify myself with my name and date and time we met, and then clearly lay out what my intentions are so she can give me a flat yes or no and I don't have to beat around the bush) Her: I'm in suburb in my city that isnt anywhere close to our college area... so probably not.

She was pretty short in that text and didn't really leave me much to reply with. I could always try asking her about another day this week but I don't want to give her the position where she could say something like "We'll see!" or something like that.

Basically, do I reply back and ask about another day? Or do I wait until the actual day I want to meet with her (such as a normal night to get a drink like a Thurs-Sat)? Or should I just give it up on this girl?
