So this is just going to be a general FR covering some of the interactions I've had in the last few weeks. Confidence isn't something I've always had, especially around women (I'm 22 btw) so I'm mostly just working on inner game right now.

FR#1

So about 3-4 weeks ago I went out with a group of friends from work as a going away for one of our buddies. I didn't have any expectations aside from having a good time with my friends (and to wingman for our friend who's leaving). This is the mindset I've been trying to get myself into at least.

Since it's been a while I dont remember exactly how this first encounter went obviously, but it didn't go well. I guess I don't know how to wingman properly, at least in the way the layout of this place was. This bar had like circle booths and we met these 2 HB8s (friends of one of our buddies GF) and they were already set up in the middle of the booth. I couldnt isolate one from the other for him, so I resorted to squeezing him into the inside as well, so he had an oppurtunity to kino at least.

At first it seemed like things were going well for him, because one of the HB8s was from Chicago (so was my buddy) so they had some easy conversation pieces. I stopped paying attention to them and just started conversating with my friends and watching the Coyote Ugly style dancers this bar had.

Things went poor when some guy the HB8 knew came up and just destroyed my buddy. I honestly didn't know how to gatekeep in this scenario. Honestly probably could have learned some alphaness from this guy. He came up leaned over the table pretty much right across my friend to talk to her. As he's doing this our other friend sticks his hand in his face to introduce himself, being quite obvious that he wasn't really welcome at our table. The guy just accepts the handshake, says hello, and immediately turns back to the girl. It really just shattered any sort of barrier to our group. Anyway not really important, it's just something I noticed. She ended up going upstairs to the dance area with him and left our group. At that point we were pretty much getting up to head to a different bar anyway.

We go inside the next bar, and it's dead. As we're walking out we can see in the kitchen at this place and its got this huge bowl of tomatoes. I just decided to walk in and grab one. For zero reason at all. The chef turns to me as I come in and we exchange hello's. I walk over grab a tomato and kind of hold it up in a toasting fashion, just to let him know I'm taking the tomato. He just laughs and says bye. So I walked out with the tomato. I still dont know why I grabbed it, but it ended up being a good opener for this set of 6 girls.

Out on the sidewalk again I gave the tomato to one of my friends. He bites a huge chunk out of it, then spikes the rest of the tomato. It's kind of a WTF moment. But as that happens the set of 6 girls (2 HB6, 2HB7, HB6, and a 4) walk by and ask 'What was that for?!?'. I ignored the question and asked where they were going. They told us they were going next door to this dance lounge. I said something like 'Sounds fun, thanks for the invite' and held out my arm. She interlocked her elbow and then me and 2 of my friends went with them over to the dance club. The rest of our group went off somewhere else.

At the dance club we grab a drink before heading out on the dance floor. We just have fun and are being a little quirky and dancing with them. This bar is pretty cool and has a pool table and couches off in another room, so we lead 4 of the girls off over there. The other 2 had found guys to continue dancing with. So we brought the two HB8s, 1HB7 and the HB6 to the pool table. One friend was married and didn't want to flirt at all, but the other was talking to one HB8. So we're playing 2v2 in pool with the girls and inbetween all the shots I'm talking to all the girls. I find out that 3 of them are sisters (8,7,6) and the other went to college with HB8.

I see HB7 just sitting by herself on the couch so I go over and start talking to her. Don't remember anything I said but I found out she's the oldest of the sisters and in a relationship. The middle sister (HB8) is on my team for the next game, so I use the oppurtunity to do some kino by touching her arm/shoulder and putting a hand on her lower back as she's shooting. It seems like it's working and when we end up losing we just go hang out on the couch. Just talked on the couch a bit and put my arm around her. About this time we decide to head out of the night, so I just #-closed even though I should have done a K-close. She was 5 years older than me, and I guess maybe it intimidated me slightly.

She was cool though, and I wanted to see her again. So I text her that night so she had my number and made a joke about her cat which i had nicknamed earlier in the night. A day or two later I asked if she wanted to join me for some drinks or something. She said she was busy and didn't offer another time. I tried again later that week but it didn't work that time either, although she did give me an alternative which didnt work for me either. I then went on an out of town trip for a week and I didn't talk to her at all. It'd been 2-3 weeks without talking to her, but 2 days ago I randomly decided to text her and said something like 'hey just checking to see if you were dead or not'. She responded well and asked what I'd been up to. She asked to hang out this weekend but I had other plans already, so I asked about next weekend, but she's going out of town. Seems like timing just doesn't work, and by now any initial attraction is obviously gone. Not really sure how to proceed.

TL;DR: Met an HB8 while out with some friends. #-close. Haven't been able to set up a date yet. Can't tell if no interest or just conflicting schedules.
