So I'm playing basketball with the guys and HB8 walks by. Everyone stops the game and says "daaaaamn" all at once for a good laugh. I seize this opportunity and go up to HB8 and introduce myself with an opener I got from a user in this sub. I used a different variation to fit the enviornment. I tell her "I saw you from across the court and wanted to know if you were as interesting as you are cute." She blushes and doesn't look at me. I brush it off and keep talking to her. I'm doing this while dribbling the ball and I'm starting to run out of court before I go out of bounds so I tell her "hold on one second." I drive straight down the center breaking the ankles of everyone on the opposing team (I'm pretty sure someone fell) and I lay the ball up and make it. I hear the all say "DAAAAAAMN" even louder than the first one. I then hear her say "awww why'd you leave me :/." I ignore them and run back to her. Almost #-close until I find out shes way to young for me. I just wanted to share this awesome moment coming from someone who used to be to scared to ask a stranger for the time.
