I'm currently a college student who got out of a long relationship and have been reading this sub for literally 3 days. I've always been considered a nice guy but I wanted that to change. This isn't a huge event but definitely shows the importance of a certain technique: eye contact

Last night I was over at a friend's for a dinner party and there was a girl there who was a mutual friend. I had seen her several times before but we were never really friends. I wasn't really attracted to her but I figured I'd try out some tips I read about just for the hell of it. Throughout the night I started making sure I was paying attention when she spoke and looking into her eyes. After a bit of that I kept catching her looking back at me. By the end of the night she literally invited herself over to my place (but I wasn't interested in escalating with her).

I just wanted to share with you all that this doesn't have to be hard and you don't have to come up with crazy novel things to say at a random approach. Just go in with the mindset that you might just have to do small things to get her to notice, and thats it! Cannot stress the importance of eye contact more.

Hopefully I'll be able to report with a more extensive FR soon!
