So probably going out for a friend's birthday last week wasn't a great place to try and go on the pull, but I was there to enjoy myself. We'd come in a group of 5 girls and 2 guys (one of which was me), although 2 more guys (including birthday boy, both socially awkward) met us outside the club.
I manage to persuade the girls with us to give the partyboy a few kisses, nothing serious though, and pointed out potential pulls for him - none of which he acts on, because he's a buffoon. I decide to just enjoy myself and see what happens instead of being his personal caretaker (last time I went out, his friend followed me everywhere like a lapdog, it was not fun).
So basically, I was dancing away, hadn't really picked a target yet, so I went to get some drinks, and just to the right of me at the bar is an HB6, nothing amazing, but a start nonetheless. I give her the eyes, and she turns towards me and puts her arms around my neck, so I start to hold her by the waist. We move away from the bar and dance for a bit , so as not to get in the way of anyone. Thought I was getting weird looks from people nearby anyway, so I thought a bit of privacy would be good especially with all the kino going on.
She starts to move in closer towards me, so I reciprocate, yet just as I'm about to #close the birthday boy pulls me away and asks where his drink is.
He's barely 18 and is in his first proper club legally, and has pulled a major AFC move. I mean, he fits the description perfectly, calls all girls ugly or slags, depending on who rejects who.
I get the drinks and manage to track down the girl I was with, and approach from behind and try to get back into the rhythm we had going, and whisper 'now where were we at?' but she just sticks up her hand and pulls a disgusted face. She was clearly not drunk, and her friends who she was with, were fine letting me be with her, so I just can't explain why she gave me the cold shoulder.
Basically, I'm just posting this as advice to anyone with the chump stereotype friend, avoid taking them anywhere, keep them as non-social people who you keep out of that environment. They're nice guys, just total halfwits when it comes to girls, and I'm not willing to hold their hand.
Secondly, do any of you have advice relating to how to get back on track with a girl after you were interrupted, or any tips/constructive criticism whatsoever?
