Haven't been doing this too long but I feel as if I am getting better. Maybe not great with the ladies but beter with myself as a person.

Last night I went out with a friend, her BF was out of town and we decided to go to the bar and hang out. We end up at the "drity burboun" its a country type bar, now I'm not a country guy myself my everyone seems to go here as they have a mechanical bull and a live band. I didnt know how to dance at all so she decides to show me, ended up leraning the 2-step pretty quick and even got some twirls going on with her. I took it upon myself to go up to a few girls and just start converstaion even if it dided and went stale I kept up the charge just getting comfortable being "that guy" the one that talks to people naturally.

I hit up a couple of girls, just randomly to keep it in my head that, "this is what I do". Conversations went stale, I didnt escalate, I didnt convo thread properly....but thats ok. I did it. I talked. I conversed and I did it again. I even asked a couple of girls to dance. One was showing the other how to 2 step, I asked them to dance said I had just learned 30mins ago myself. They said No Im showing her how to dance. Thats fine. They werent interested in meeting someone new and dancing. People are allowed to be this way and its NOT because of me. Came home after a pretty fulfilling night. I HAD FUN!!! it didnt matter that I didnt hook up or get #'s or whatever. I had a good time going out.

Today I was at the grocery store and saw a total HB8 right when I walked in. I continued to shop, and saw her a couple of more times in the aisles I went down. I knew I was going to approach and was working up the courage. Ran openeres in my head, knew I was going to go with "your totally adorable and I just had to meet you" I figured I would get shot down, I figured she already saw me like 3 times I blew the opportunity by not saying Hi right away. Well I am in an aisle with her and I move to the next and she so happens to be like right behind me so I change the game. I turn around and say "Are you following me? Your totally following me!" She was VERY receptive started lauging immediately. I made sure to maintain eye contact while we talked. I turned my body sideways to not appear threatening or overbearing. We chatted for a bit, turns out she is a Seargent in the Air Force, I told her "were going to hang out, let me get your #" She gave it to me I reply at some point with "are you this cool to hang out with in person, your not boring, or just gonna give me your # and flake are you" older guy with his kid behind us says "yeah she totally didnt call me last week." HB8 is laughing, blushing and being very receptive at this. I give her some crap inititate kino by touching her shoulder turning to guy and saying "is she always like this" :) touched the shoulder to emphasize points while talking a little more. Got the # kept talking and went and grabbed some frozen foods together, told her I had to go (so I kept the interaction on my terms) and told her I would be calling her gave her a hug said goodbye. I left the store and immediately texted "OMG this crazy girl was following me in the store and gave me her number. Im scared." She loved it!! We are texting little snippits here and there today, I am going to call her up tommorrow after the gym and set up a date.

I am getting better, I am not perfect, but I am trying everyday. I never got an HB8's # before....and it was soooooooooo much easier than I thought!!!
