Went to party alone, stood around for 15 minutes, they ran out of beer so I couldn't get drunk. I talked to a girl I had met yesterday while drunk. My mind was completely blank, I didn't know what to say to her after the greeting so I left the party. Opened a 2-set outside, they said hi to me first so I said hi back, learned their names, shook hands, they asked me if I was drunk I said no. They asked me if I smoked I said yeah, I couldn't figure out anything to say to them, so I left and now I'm here back in my room wishing I had money to buy alcohol.

I am probably never going to try and pick up women sober again because this night was just terrible. My sober personality is too reserved while drunk me is the way more sociable energetic and fun me. I can't bring out drunk me without drinking so I'll never pick up sober again.

Lesson learned.
