I had been eyeing this girl in my Marketing class for a few weeks now, I am ashamed to say I chickened out twice in asking her for her number. Finally, today I decided to end my beta ways and went for it right as the class ended. I started off with a very simple line that appeared to work very well since she gave me the cutest smile that made me melt. All I said to her was: "I would like to say that I think you are very pretty and would like to introduce myself." We introduced ourselves and I asked for her number, and GOT IT. I always thought starting off with a compliment was sure way to get things going. It appears I was right.

I'm pretty happy right now that my first time back out was a success. I'll be texting her tomorrow to set a date. I would like to say thank you to all of you here who gave sound advice. I can't wait to see where this goes.
