Only a short one. I am 22 and have had sex and girlfriends ect. But since i turned 20 (after a break up) I have had no sex and little to no interaction with females (in a sexual way.) Tonight I was invited to drinks with a friend from my uni course who i do not usually go out with. So i thought fuck it, lets go out.

We went to a bar and i instantly felt attracted to the bar maid. There were a few interactions as follows;

Me: (while another barman was serving me a drink) Nice shirt, i like it.

Her: (Just a smile and a thanks nothing more)

Me: (Second time at the bar she is serving me) I like those earings what are they? Split conquers? (They looked like that)

Her: No they're seeds from south America.

Me: oh right, what do i call you then? Shirt girl or seed ears?

Her: HB8..

(more chitter chatter i was asking her about her name and trying to build comfort)

Me: (as i was leaving) So what do you do besides pull pints?

Her: (talking about her degrees ect...)

Me: Lets meet up soon get coffee and have some interesting conversations

Her: I'm a little to old for you (She was 29)

Me: Well its your loss, put your number in anyway we may or may not meet but i want it just incase. (She gives me the number and i say my goodbyes and leave the bar)

Now i realize this isn't that huge of a step, and she could of given me a false number. Either way i proved to myself that i am capable of being direct with people.
