Ok, so this is the first time I had interacted with an attractive girl since reading the inner game and other basic seddit articles. This is gonna be kinda long so fair warning.

So I feel like an asshole about this whole situation to start of with because I basically stole this girl from one of my good friends. Originally I was trying to set him up with her and this was the second time they were hanging out. I hadn't talked to her too much either so this was basically a clean slate for both of us. My friend (who I was trying to hook up with the girl) a different girl and the girl who he was into went to her place to drink a little and just hang out. We got there and all sat down on the same couch together and watched a movie. Nothing much happened here as she was on the wrong end of the couch from both of us. After the movie was over the other girl started to drink a lot more and hung out with other people in the place. This left my friend and I to hang out with the girl he was supposed to get with. He was nervous as fuck and therefore not saying much or being to open. I was just being myself, open, talkative and fun, and she started to talk to me more instead of him because he was just kind of sitting there. She was drinking and was getting tipsy and was also starting to get more and more physical with me. We more or less cuddled on the couch, giggled talked and had a good time. I was not trying to steal his girl at all but it was just kind of happening. The more we talked the more I realized how attractive she was and how awesome of a person she was. Next thing I knew I just flat out liked her and was flirting it up pretty hard. My friend was pissed (with reason) and smoked a lot of cigs and sat in the corner listening to his music as we bonded more. Later in the night he broke out of his shell and started sitting with us and talking to her and stuff. By this point I really liked her and he had noticed, we basically subconsciously decided to battle for her. No offense to my friend at all but I was winning the entire night because I had a head start and all of his tries to throw me under a bus and gain an advantaged backfired badly. I still felt kinda bad and didn't make as many moves as I could of but I still made a lot of progress, joking and cuddling and later dancing with her. Later he decided to back out and let me go after her alone. We have plans to hang out after winter break (because we go to a university together but live about 3 hours away from eachother) and I am going to try and see if I can seal the deal then. I am pretty sure I played the alpha male part the entire night and was all around fun and outgoing (not to pat myself on the back too much).

tl;dr: I accidentally fell for a girl I tried to set my friend up with and ended up making him give up on her and "winning" our battle over her even though we aren't together yet.

Can any of you give me advice on how to go about "getting" her from here? Anything would be nice, thanks.
