popped out with my brother and one of my mates who has a wife, but he's recently discsovered 'pua' and he is super into it which I love. Much more fun when someone else is making the odd approach and not just me. Also always interesting to note differences and observe things from a different angle.

First open was on a 2 set at the bar. He opened her with ''did you see the fight outside?''. I almost spat my beer out. Obviously he's been reading mysterymethod! They actually called him out which surprised me (''there wasn't really a fight outside, was there. You just wanted to talk too us''). I jumped in and played along and made it sound like there was a little fight outside and went into a little detail which seemed to convince them that his opener was 'genuine' lol. Both pretty. One of them was actually stunning, but it turned out she was actually a lesbian. Didn't know hot lesbians existed outside of porn! I carried on talking to the other one. I done a cold read and threw some questions at her, and teased her about being from a fairly rough area and using that to go back the the 'fight outside' and about how I bet she knows a few good fighting moves. She laughed. Then I done some super gamey/cheesy/classic cold read thing about her being a good girl with bad girl mannerisms or something. I kind of cringe when I implement some of this stuff sometimes, but I sometimes do it because what's the point in 'learning' all these things and then never using them, and, to be fair, she seemed to kind of light up and she laughed again and grabbed me. This set was going really well and she was asking me stuff and seemed interested etc etc, but all it took was for there to be like 5 seconds of silence where I kind of couldn't think of anything to say, and she walked away to sit with her friends (including the lesbian who had already ejected from my friend). Didn't even say 'bye'! Sometimes feels like you need to be legit perfect in order to not lose some girls. The bar can be impossibly high!

A 4 set were near us and one of them seemed to be checking my friend out a few times. I went to the bathroom and when I came back I found out that he'd already been blown out. Apparently he opened with ''I saw you checking me out. Come and say hi''. And then she was just like ''No. I wasn't. We're talking. Bye'' lol.

He opened another girl. Extremely hot young girl in a red dress. Not good winging on my part, but I wanted to just observe and see if I could learn anything new from this different perspective in this set. He opened her and she gave the reaction I often get. One of confusion and bemusement, like she'd never had a stranger strike up a conversation with her before. Maybe she hasn't! She was giving him the shortest answers possible and her body language was like ''I want this to end. I hope he stops talking so i can leave''. Admittedly he was just using what I call 'normal guy game' and just asking her name, age, what she does, what she's up too tonight etc and not doing anything especially 'gamey'. She basically excused herself out of the convo after maybe 2 minutes like ''yeah, anyway, have a good night'' and walked away

Getting late now and both my brother and friend have disappeared so i'm flying solo.

A stunning young girl walks past me and I decide to try a direct opener and stop her tell her she's cute. She looks at me almost aggressively and kind of snaps, ''Yeah, i know! bye'' and walks away before I could try to transition into something lol

I open a hot girl at the bar and make her laugh and straight away I think I made a small statement of intent. She tells me she's taken by I might like her friend. She points too her friend who is also hot and I call her over and i'm like ''You're friend was just saying we'd make a cute couple'' (shes didn't actually say that but whatever lol). Her friend laughed, and then I grabbed the new girl and pulled her towards me and was like ''Who are you then?'' adn we started talking and it was one of those sets where you feel like you are instantly at that stage where it's kind of flirty and there's sexual tension and your past the awkwardness. Doesn't happen much but it's cool when it does. Unfortunately I can't remember much of what we spoke about at all as probably a bit drunk by now. I remember after a while I just gently moved her into isolation up against a wall near the DJ booth and started kissing her. Me and this girl and her friend all went outside. I think one of them wanted some chips or something. I tried to see the pull and talked about a little 'after party' or something. I then decided to talk to 'my' girls friend to make sure she was completely on my side and wouldn't cock block me.

This was a stupid move because: 1/she'd already basically set me up with her friends 2/it meant leaving my girl alone near a busy bar

That second reason would prove fatal!

After a few minutes of dancing with her friend on the street trying to do moves from 'dirty dancing' because she said I reminded her of Patrick Swayze, I noticed that 'my'girl is now talking to some handsome muscly stud. They appear to swap numbers but he left. This salted my game pretty badly. My state dropped a bit. I carried on talking to her friend just for a few seconds, and now 'my' girl was in set with ANOTHER dude and she seemed very comfortable with him. I don't knew if he already knew her, but I don't think so because her friend who I was still talking too was like ''Looks like x GIRL is with him now! I think you two are a better match that that guy'' ('that guy' suggests she doesn't know him and since the girls are best friends, I imagine he was a stranger to my girl, too)

At this point the friend seemed to want to be on her own and was texting and no longer really engaging me in convo and suddenly i'm out in the cold here feeling like a weird loner lol. I just felt it'd be super needy to now go and try to work my way back in with the original girl and before i knew it, all 3 of them got in a cab. D'oh!!!

They hadn't kissed or even looked close to doing so, but I can only assume the worst lol.
