Long time lurker yada yada yada....

Every Monday I take salsa lessons followed by a few hours at a local club that has a Monday Latin night. My dancing has gotten progressively better to the point where I can multitask and hold a pretty decent conversation while still dancing.

So tonight, I thought I'd go out on a limb and see if I couldn't escalate a little beyond the "Would you like to dance?", dancing, "Thank you for the dance" routine. I was talking to this HB7 (maybe 8?) about usual stuff: interests, where she learned to dance, job, etc. The tricky thing about Latin dancing is that it can already be very sexual so there's it can be a challenge to escalate physically when you aren't dancing.

For now, I put the physical escalation aside and focused on piquing this girl's interest. After some more conversation (and a little kino), I got her number and solid plans for Friday night.

Maybe a bit of a dull FR, but after the reading I've done on this sub, I've realized that if you can dance a "structured" dance like salsa or swing (or contra or whatever), it's a lot easier to strike up conversation and maybe something else. It also makes building attraction easier because hey, girls love guys that can dance. I've F-closed after a dance before. Not this time, but am getting there.
