(backstory) Sooo I have tried to do cold approach pick up before but I was never really confident enough to do well. I got discouraged and took a break for a little bit. But now that I have a new gf who is down to work on this with me, I went out yesterday to start my PU journey again!

(What I wanted to work on) I have issues with showing/clarifying intent. I bitch out and don't push. There's a lot of times that I approach a set, open, but then don't try for a number close because I get nervous.

(The successful approach) Tbh I only did one direct approach yesterday buuut I got the number so at least I have something to talk about. I noticed her first because she was a bit taller maybe 5'6/5'7 and she was with her shorter friend. They were walking out of sephora which made sense because her makeup was on point. I ran up behind them to get a better look at her to confirm how pretty she was then I went up to her. Since I'm a girl, my openers are pretty basic lol. I just stopped her, told her how pretty I thought she was then asked her if she would be down to go get to know each other and go on a date. She was visibly apprehensive/suprised (which in my experience, most girls being approached by another girl are) but she wasn't saying no to me. So I doubled down and told asked if she would at least try and see where it goes. After looking to her friend and receiving a look of approval, she said she'd be down to try and gave me her number!

   This all might seem like a super boring FR but there have been a lot of good sets that I have lost out on because I didnt push hard enough due to me seeing that the girl wasn't 100% down right after I initially open her. Plus she was honestly really pretty so I was lowkey shook she said yes lmao. So in me posting this, it keeps me accountable for ensuring that next time I get even better results and improve my game/confidence everyday :)
