Hey r/seduction! Like many others on this sub, I've been lurking here a long time and just trying to absorb as much information as possible so that when the perfect girl comes along and gives me the doe eyes, I would be absolutely ready. I had never actually put any of it to practice though.

I'm an extremely introverted guy, and I rarely ever approach strangers, both male and female. Recently though, I've been hitting the gym and I've gotten used to asking random dudes for advice, complimenting them on their form/workouts etc.

Fast forward to today, literally less than an hour ago. I see a cute girl working out alone, with her headphones in, and she has this really cool looking streak of hair on her head that she's dyed white (think of a skunk). I swear to myself I'm not going to make the same mistake as last week when I chickened out of approaching another girl. But again, my mind is putting her on a pedestal (she was six inches shorter than me for fuck's sake), and telling me she's too cute to even talk to me, she probably gets hit on every hour of the day, etc. But then I did something that I've read about on this sub quite a bit.

I imagined her taking a shit.

Yep. Holding a newspaper in her hands and with reading glasses on, the whole shebang. Pooping on a toilet. Like every other human being ever. In fact, the very image actually made me chuckle to myself, such that when I said "fuck it", I walked up to her with a pretty big grin on my face. I told her I thought her hairstyle was pretty cool, and that I've never seen something like that before. She smiled and explained it was actually a birthmark that she's had all her life. Pretty neat. I reach out for a high five and she takes it. I kind of hold her hand for a second and introduced myself to her, which she did the same.

Unfortunately, I didn't ask for her number, but I proved something to myself today that you've all read time and time again on this sub: women are just like everyone else. They're goddamn humans. They take poops on toilets, they get sick and have runny noses and puffy eyes, and they appreciate genuine compliments just like guys do.

This probably seems like such a small incident to a lot of you accomplished sedditors, but to me, this was huge. Thanks, r/seduction.
