1) Cashier girl. Went over to buy some tracksuit pants and socks, say a simple "hello" and immediately hit it off. Girl is friendly, responsive. Problem is, I only realized that in retrospect, since I was a bit pissed off over a ridiculous electricity bill I got earlier that morning, which might have actually helped now that I think about it, since I was completely relaxed and just talking casually about random stuff. To top it off, as I was leaving and made a crack about the weather, she mentioned offhandedly about getting off her shift in an hour. Was my cue to get a number, but like I said, kinda moody at the time. Combine that with me wearing a leather jacket at the time, and having a short haircut, and maybe she thought I was some kind of badass gangster nerd.

Notes: Don't let your mood distract you from going after obvious IOIs. Also, when you're relaxed and don't think about seducing a girl, you're much better at getting their interest. Perhaps unintentional seduction is your forte? Try not hitting on a girl next time you're chatting her up.

2) Girl from the bus. Ran over to get on the bus, just as people were getting off it. A hot blonde with massive boobs gets off and walks past. Deliberate for a couple of seconds whether I should get the next bus, catch up to her and chat her up, bystanders be damned. Decide to get on the bus and let her walk away instead. I mean, it's not like you wanted to see if you had a chance of motorboating a pair of nice-sized funbags.

3) Girl on the train. Turns out she's tourist from America. Take a seat next to her, chat her up. She was semi-receptive, which made me almost sorta give up as per my usual modus operandi, but I pressed on. Moments of silence were present, but did not throw me off my game as before. Used some light kino, which I think made her more receptive as her body language noticeably shifted and she became way more interested. Turned out she had a boyfriend, but I figured that having a female friend is good too, and invited her to hang out. Exchanged numbers, invited her to play indoor tennis with me and a couple of good friends of mine.

Notes: No girlfriend, but a friend is just as good. Plus, learned to be more forward in interactions, and stopped letting silence in conversation be my enemy.
