Let me begin by saying that the (kinda) just implies that I don't really remember everything. I have no idea how people keep detailed accounts of their night, do they type/write it down as it happens?
Anyways, yeah I decided to go out to one of the two local PSU clubs alone (Levels). So I get there, and quickly go up and get a drink. I make some small talk with some guys and girls just standing around. about 10 minutes in, some girl walks up to me and asks if I'm single. I tell her yes, and she wants me to meet her cousin because I'm hot lol. I'm already pumped becaues, although I am a good looking guy, PSU girls seem to always wait for guys to approach them, and coming from high school where I never had to approach, it's been the death of me lol.
So I get to the floor, and I'm dancing with her a bit, and she remarks how I look so young and asks if I used a fake ID to get in lol. Now, when I do Movember at the end I have as much as a regular person would have in about a week, and most would believe me if I told them I was any year in High School, but I'm no babyface. So she wants me to guess her age, and I lowball with a 23, and I'm 4 years off. I'll admit, considering I'm at college for the summer finding out she was 27 kinda threw me off. So we danced but it kind of fizzled as I'm sure a lot of you guys are familiar with.
The rest of the night wasn't really anything special, but I did some chatting here, some dancing there etc. Even though I wasn't constantly opening and found myself using the dreaded cell phone crutch more than a few times I'm proud of myself for throwing myself out there by going clubbing alone. My main goal was really to see that going out alone isn't a big deal; I didn't have anybody notice/ask why I was alone.
I'm thinking about hitting a bar up tomorrow, because I feel it will help more with my goal of getting used to opening (it seems at clubs a lot of girls just wait for you to start grinding on them/aren't much for conversation, and that's way too forward for where I'm at in the infancy of game) a lot. Though I know Sunday is often considered a "gay" night here so finding a place that isn't catering to that might be a challenge.
PS Also I've found what seems to happen to me at least once a night is some guy who isn't gaming at all and who admittingly isn't that attractive/is probably not too good with girls will come up to me and start to tell me to "go hit that you pussy" or something similar. I had a guy who just stayed at the bar all night tell me to "not be a bitch" when I came back from dancing with the first girl stated above. If you aren't doing shit, don't tell me what to do dammit!
PPS. This should probably go in a different post, but kind of related to the above PS, I feel that most people don't realize it isn't always easy being good-looking. Going out with friends, there is often a lot of pressure because they expect me to hit on the hottest girls at the bars/clubs, and never really working on game because good looks got me by in high school can really suck with the pressure. Sometimes I wish "looks did matter" regarding getting girls because then I'd feel way more confident knowing that I really wouldn't have to have much game to get girls.
TL; DR: I went out clubbing alone, although it didn't go perfect I'm still proud of myself for actively putting myself into uncomfortable situations.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
