So typically I only talk to 1 or 2 girls the entire night and try to stay with them. But last night I wanted to work on increasing the volume of people I talk to and letting girls go if we dont hit it off great right away and counting on them coming back later. I focused mainly on no talking approaches on the dance floor which I hadn't done before and found some pretty good success. I danced with a few different girls but most of them got dragged away by their friend because my wingman was kind of a pussy.

One peticular encounter I would like to focus on was with the hottest girl that I talked to the entire night. She was kind of dancing with her friend (something I usually look for because it seems kind of sad to me tbh) but apparently also talking to a guy a few feet away from her, although I didnt know this at the time. It took me like 30 seconds to muster up the confidence to approach because she was so hot but finally when I did she took my hand right away and I pulled her away a bit. She seemed happy that I saved her from the sad situation she was in and she was feeling me right away. But like 20 seconds later the guy who she was apparently talking to came and grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away from me without saying anything. I knew that she wanted to be with me more because this guy was boring af and she just wanted someone fun to dance with like me. But I didnt really know what to do because I didnt want to get into a tug of war competition in the middle of the dance floor so I just let her go. What should I say or do next time in this situation?

Ultimately I talked with a few more chicks, my wingman hooked me up with a girl who was alright except for her face was kinda bad. She wanted to come home with me but I decided she wasnt attractive enough and left alone. I did have a good time though, I made some friends, and feel like I made some pretty good progress.
