This might get lengthy. This past weekend I went out to the bars for the first time in a few months. I've never had much luck at the bars so I don't enjoy them much, I've also had steady sex for the past few months (with Kate, if you read my first FR :D).

My approach anxiety has gotten so much better it is incredible. I stand tall and make eye contact with everyone just by habit now from playing the eye contact game so much (word to the wise: try to break this habit before going to a gay bar).

We spent the whole night at one bar that got progressively busier as the night went on. I went to meet my friend Kate, the HB8 from my last FR. We got to the bar to meet up with her and some friends of hers, turns out to be 5 other dudes. That and the one other guy friend I brought means we are at 7 dudes and 1 female in our group. It sounds frustrating but it never really even crossed my mind that it might be because I had my mindset right from the beginning, I was there to have fun.

I didn't do a great job at talking to her friends, partially because they are very close, partially because they all wanted to fuck Kate who I have such an easy time getting to follow me around, and partially because the friend I brought is a bit AFC and was just hanging back looking awkward and I didn't want him to be left out.

I immediately showed these guys that she was mine. I grabbed her scarf off of her neck and made her tie it around my head like I was a ninja. She was all over that, I'm sure her friends just thought I was a douche. We started throwing peanuts at each other and just having an all around good time. Her friends were definitely AFC, one of whom is her ex (note to self: I actually notice AFC guys now, that never used to happen). I get bored of their conversation and walk over to play some pool with my buddy. We challenge some guys who had the pool table the rest of the night. I was in such a good mood, I was super stoked to play some pool. I introduce myself and make quick friends of the two at the table, and we joke and have a great time as we play. Kate wanders over after a bit, wondering why I hadn't told her where I was going. She is hanging on me while playing pool, which is great because she is hot and the place is filling up. I'm smiling laughing and showing off my average pool skills.

Things started getting interesting at this point. My friend and I went up to the bar to get some drinks. I was standing back waiting while he got the drinks when a group of 3 girls pull up next to me. 2 HB7s and a 6. I immediately make eye contact with one of the HB7s and don't break it. She smiles at me so I smile and say hi. They all 3 come over and say you are really cute whats your name. I tell them my name and I KID YOU NOT, the cutest of them says that I should make out with all 3 of them. I was in shock. I realize this is somewhat just luck. I say "all 3 at once?". One of the other 2 girls recoils and says "no just one at a time". I look at her and say "I'll only do it if it's all of you at once". I'm in shock but trying to keep my cool. They are hesitant but I put my arm around 2 of their shoulders and bring them in closer. We are all about to go for it and they are all giggling. At the last second I back out laughing. "I'm not going to make out with all 3 of you". This really pisses off one of the 7s and so I just turn around and walk away. It sounded awesome until I had these 3 mouths coming at me, it was more of just an ego thing.

That was a major confidence boost and I just started to notice women looking at me which I've never noticed before. I go dance with Kate for and while but she decides to leave with her friends after a bit. That kind of got my mood back down, seeing as she was probably my best bet of getting laid that night. My buddy and I decide to go meet one of his friends at another bar and I'm definitely letting myself get too down. On the way out I see this chick that I had met before, an HB9, that I'm extremely attracted to (the fucking best dimples/smile I've ever seen). As she walks by me I'm thinking fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck I need to talk to her but I let her walk past me. I was just so confident 5 minutes ago WTF! I reach down into the depths of my pants to make sure my balls are still there (figuratively). They are there. I turn around and go after her.

I walk up to her, she has just met up with a bunch of friends. Straight up to her. I touch the side of her arm and say, "I remember your face, where do I know you from?" She says yes I totally remember your face but I have no idea what your name is. I say yeah "I am pretty sure your name is"... I pause a second and grimace like i'm about to spit out the wrong name... "Tess." She complements my memory as I take a step back from her group, she comes with me. I just start talking about how I think we met and she told me she remembered but we were both a little drunk. As we talk I keep touching her arm in the same place, keeping it there a little bit longer each time, she inches closer and closer to me and I never break eye contact. I get to the point where both of my hands are on her sides, she has a hand on my chest. Looking back I should have kissed her at that point, but she asks to give me her number (that's never happened to me, it's always me asking for the number). We exchange numbers and at that point I feel I need to push a bit so I back off and tell her I need to go find my buddy (I actually did need to seeing as I left him on the way out the bar) but that I hoped she comes and finds me later. I kissed her on the cheek and left. #close

WE end up back at the same bar because it was the most fun, and I really wanted to find this girl again. I couldn't find her and we decide to go look for some other girls. My buddy is being a bit AFC. So I'm kind of on my own. Still making lots of eye contact with everyone and getting smiles and feeling great. I see a really cute blonde HB8 with her even hotter tall friend, I tell my buddy it's time to go in and I go for it. He doesn't follow me :( ... I walk up and comment on this huge necklace she is wearing, asking her if her neck gets tired by the end of the night. She laughs and tells me it's her tall friend 21st birthday. I wanted the blonde because I'm not into chicks that are taller than me. We do some chatting, the typical find out what everyone does. I've started asking "What do you wanna be when you grow up?" rather than the typical whats your major where do you work boring shit. The tall girl and I both reveal that we are in the Engineering school which lights her up. I ask her why she likes Engineering and we agree that we are both turned on by math. The blonde girl starts calling us nerds and eventually tries to get my to buy her friend birthday shots, I agree on the condition that she also buys me a beer.

After we take the shots the HB8 says she wants to give me her number! 2x in one night, sweet! I was pretty stoked even though she wasn't my original target. I also get the blondes # but I can tell that it isn't happening with her. We head back the dance floor and they were telling me to leave with them and go to a different bar and meet a friend of theirs. I told them that was fine but that I was going to stay. They immediately decided to stay as well. We dance for a bit but I started getting bored of them since I wasn't into the birthday girl and the other wasn't into me. I eventually leave them to some other guys.

Soon the bar closes and I'm sitting outside with my buddy when I see Tess! I got really nervous again. I find her so attractive but I somehow end up going to talk to her. We were having some good conversation, but nothing spectacular. I probably should have gone back to the quick kino that seemed to work before but for some reason I got very nervous. Soon a group of her friends come up and grab her away from me. As she is in her little circle of friend and I'm with my buddy who is smoking I make eye contact a few more times and she smiles every time. I am currently trying to figure out what the fuck I should do with this girl 2 days later. Overall it was a fun fucking night!
