Hey seddit, just wanted to give you guys a somewhat brief field report on my past weekend going into the field.

Let me start off by saying that this was my first weekend out actually putting what I've read into the field. It's not much but I figured I'd give back to the community somehow, as I have took my fair share of information from this sub.

TDLR at the bottom, but feedback is appreciated from some more experienced people than me!

Starting off Friday night with no plans I hit up one of my good friends and we decided it would be a good idea to go to the club since we can't go to bars. We get to the club and the club is booked for a private party... Bummer, since it sounds like the whole place is packed and going good. We deicide that'd we'd try out our luck at the club next door, but we get in and the place is dead, a couple girls but nothing that caught my attention.

We decide to bounce from that club and change venues keeping it in mind for later on in the night just in case something's changed. Since I was "in" a frat for my first semester in college, I think it'd be best if we find out where the frats are located in the college town. So we ask for some directions and find its about a block away.

Score! At least I thought, we meet up with the guys from the chapter of this campus and make some short conversation. They said they had nothing going on and we part ways, which they walk down to a house a couple doors down and go to a house that sounded like something might be going on. Thanks bros! So we say fuck it and just walk over to the house with the next pack of people we see and walk in with them.

Party's ok nothing amazing but there is a definitely a couple of good hb's there. We make our way down scoping out the place and seeing what we can do. Me and my friend walk around to the patio, and I'm smiling making eye contact with everyone I see. Cool, everyone seems receptive and pretty chill with us being there. We make our way out grab a beer and a cig each, and discuss our game plan.... Nothing, just to go and approach.

Then a couple of hb's walk out and ask for a cig. My friend pulls out his pack and passes one out to the girl to his right, and the other one looks towards me. I look at her back and tell her I don't give out my cigs to strangers and she quickly replies with her name, and that she's sorry for being rude. I shrugged it off and started a conversation between the for of us about college and work stuff blah blah blah, we get a good Convo going for a while and we go back inside, with them saying they're leaving. I thought its now or never so I ask if they want to come back to the car and take shots but they were going off to a bar, ohh well. It looks like we caught the last wind of the party side it looked like it was winding down.

We figured we'd have better chances going back to the club, so we set off. Got to the club and it had a couple more people but nothing big. My friend b-lines for the bathroom and I look around and see a hb7 with her friend talking to a guy. I walk up to her and introduce my self, but before I can get anything else out she says she has a boyfriend, being my first legit weekend out I pulled an afc and walked away.

At this point it's around 1 and my friend comes out from the bathroom and we know we need to make moves. So I see a hb6 dancing around with what seems to be with her friend and her friends boyfriend. Me and my friend dance over and I dance with her for a bit. Sweet! Got something out of tonight! But after a couple minutes she dances away. We call it a night there.

Saturday

We planned on going back to the club tonight, but this time to the other club that was previously booked. This time though my Fwb (thanks seddit!) decides she wants to go too. Ok cool, I have no pressure tonight but wanna still practice game. We get to the club and get in and scope it out. Two hb6-7's on their phones, I tell my Fwb to wait for us while I try and set something up for my friend. But really I wanted to practice.

I tell my friend to follow my lead and we walk up to them with a little wit and tell them that they need to be more social and get off their phones and find some attractive guys to talk to. I pull the set to a part of the club that's a little more quiet and we have a conversation, it's about to die down and I say we gotta get back to our other friend but we might hit up some parties and they should join if we decide to leave. We part ways and I get back to my Fwb, and she must have been jealous because assign as my friend goes to the bathroom we make out. Nothing else really eventful this night. And we call it quits eventually.

Had fun both nights though! And am going out again this weekend

Things I could have done better

  • make more approaches in the club the first time on Friday, could have made some more the second time that night as well

  • called the shit test of the hb7 or at least chatted her up a bit more

  • number close the girls at the party

-open more sets while at the party

  • number closed the girls at the club the second night

TD;LR - Friday, opened danced with club girls, talked to party girls Saturday, opened missed opportunity, had back up for that night.
