Hey Seddit, I've been halfheartedly subbed to /r/seduction for about a year or two now but have mostly been working on inner game while working, going to school and getting more into fitness dressing well, etc. Recently though, I have felt more confident due to slowly changing myself into a better person than I was 2-3 years ago and have been chatting up more girls than usual (usual is pretty much none haha). I'm still err on the shy side but have always been pretty good at talking to strangers/ keeping a conversation going. It's initially approaching/opening that has been tough for me in the past when it comes to women. I still consider myself a complete beginner when it comes to this stuff (an AFC really, but have been improving). I'm not so much into hooking up but would like a relationship so I have been a bit more bold when it comes to the idea of dating.

Anyway, I was at the beach yesterday with some buddies. They are not very outgoing as well, one plays league of legends about 10 hours a day, haha. As we were chilling in the sand listening to music, drinking beer and just shooting the shit three girls walk onto the beach, two being maybe 5/10 and one 9/10 (in my opinion, more likely 7/10). They set up their stuff about 30 yards from us. From then on me and my buddies would occasionally glance over at them and keep mumbling about how we should invite them over. My friends refused to do it and told me to and then I'd say, no they should do it (I wanted to see if they actually would). After about an hour or so of this I said fuck it and picked up our soccer ball and walked over to the girls. One was doing yoga so I opened with something about yoga and invited all three of them to move their stuff over next to ours so we could all hangout. I chatted with all three for another minute or so and they were very nice but seemed kind of undecided about hanging out with me and my buddies. I told them no worries, bring their stuff over if they felt like it, avoiding a possible rejection. About ten minutes later they got up from tanning, jumped into the water and then moved all their stuff next to ours. They were drinking too and soon everyone was talking (they had just moved from up north to work at Disneyland (which is about an hour from me, in Florida) so there was plenty to talk with them about. I did not get much chance to escalate with any particular ones as two of my buddies didn't really talk to the girls so it was just me and another friend chatting. I of course had my eyes set on the most attractive one but ended up talking more with one of her friends, though I did talk with the cutest one a bit while we went into the water and I'm pretty sure she was checking me out (shoutout to /r/bodyweightfitness). We all had a good time, passed around a whiskey bottle I brought and a couple of blunts, which was nice and created a kind of bond I felt. As the sun went down both groups packed their things up and everyone exchanged halfhearted goodbyes and my buddies all started walking to their cars. Earlier one of the girls had mentioned all of us meeting up downtown for upcoming St. Patty's day. So right before leaving I asked them if I could get one of their numbers so we could meet up in a couple of weeks. I got a number, but it was offered up by the girl I had talked to least (and the most unattractive one imo). Then I said goodbye, it was nice to meet you, etc and left.

This was really the first time I have directly approached in my life in a seddit mindset. I usually never ask women out or approach due to fear of rejection. So yesterday, walking up to not one but three women who are strangers and asking them to hangout and then them saying yes was pretty awesome and really goes to show how far confidence can go. I was very nervous walking up to them but once I did I pretty much forgot about my insecurities and took control of the conversation from the get go. Of course, I am quite tall and muscular and had my shirt off (my buddies given reason that the girls came over haha. To be honest I don't think I'm very attractive, but try and make myself as good looking as I can). While that may of been helpful I think being outgoing, lighthearted, funny and confident was the key in getting them over and making future plans with all three. I do recognize mistakes I made/how to improve and am starting to see how approaching lots of women will have you learning all the time. When asking for a number, I think I should of asked the girl I was after directly. Of course if I do see these girls again in a couple of weeks it will be all of them so who's number did not matter a ton, but asking her would have shown better intent I think or I could've texted her and tried to meet up alone. There was many other things in hindsight (be funnier, listen better, escalate more of course) I would've liked to do differently but all in all it was a success in my eyes and really goes to show me (or anyone), as a beginner, how much working on inner game can help and how much you just have to be confident, fake it till you make it and put your fears aside and keep growing/learning.

Thanks seddit, I hope to have more successes (and maybe some helpful failures) to share in future.
