I was out with some work friends at a bar tonight (a work friend brought a bunch of her girlfriends and got one of their numbers, but that's a different story)

We ended up at a house party and towards the end I started talking to a group of three girls. One of them was much cuter and more outgoing than the others, so we ended up talking, just us, for a few minutes. Good IOIs (not too much kino though). She was genuinely interested in my life and who I was and I made her laugh a whole bunch. Probably should have asked for the number here but I couldn't quite find the right moment. So:

Eventually her friends came back and she went off to say some goodbyes. When she came back I couldn't isolate her, so while I was talking to her friend, I just put my phone in her hand and she put her number in and called herself. Boom - just like that.

The most important thing for me from this FR - I just didn't give any fucks about the outcome. I just put my phone in her hand.

Whether or not it pans out to anything is beside the point. I did it and I feel like I "leveled up."

I literally read the phone-in-the-hand thing on here a day or two ago. So, thanks guys!

(sidenote - the girl that was a work friend I did the opposite. Asked to see her phone and put my number in, that was hours before the house party where she was hanging with some AMOG so I just ignored her and talked to cuter girls right in front of her)
