So I recently went on my first date ever which can be found here

Since going on this date something clicked in my head and theres been some big changes in my life. I think going out with a complete stranger, getting rejected and realizing I am ok did something very good to my brain. I've started doing things I'd never thought I would do.
Firstly, I've decided to go traveling solo. A year or 2 ago I wouldn't go out into town by myself. But for some reason I feel more than ready to go out and I have a 4 day trip to Amsterdam in May staying in a shared 12 bed hostel room.
Now enough of the chitchat, I'll go in on this field report. Its a long one. And remember, I'm not some expert getting kisses and fucks left right and center, this is the field report of a complete noob who not long ago struggled with talking to anyone.
I get home from work at about 11pm thinking the night is over, but something spurs me to go to a dnb event in the town over. I go to wait for the bus and I'm feeling pretty in my head. As I am waiting 2 girls come and sit at the bus stop. I force myself to talk to them, asking why they're getting the bus so late. We chat and laugh about how bad the area is for nightlife and that there were on their way home. We chat a little more on the bus but overall I felt it wasn't happening. One thing I took away from this is that I need to work on either keeping conversation going or learning to end a conversation smoother. I felt the convo died because of me and as soon as they got off the bus I thought of a hundred things I could have done.
So next stop 2 girls get on. Neither are hot, one seem very shy, maybe just finished work and sits at the very front of the bus, the other has headphones in and sits at the back, while I am in the middle. The entire bus journey I am thinking how to handle this and decide the moment we get off the bus I will open one of them. So we get to the stop and I decide to open the shy one, I run off the bus to catch up with her and shes already getting into a car with who I think was her dad. So I walk off and decided to ask the other girl for some directions. She doesnt know how to get anywhere, we chat for a minute or 2 and I learn she had just moved there from nearby for work and only knew how to get home, but I got the feeling she just wanted to walk home and not be bothered.
Go to the dnb night, music is shit, everyones on drugs and it smells worse than a sports team locker room. Had a few drinks and stumbled back to the bus and went home.
Wake up in the morning pretty hungover, but I have to get to the bank so I can pay rent, and I woke up so late it closes within the hour. I throw on some cloths and head out.
From the bank I decide to go look around. I have a nice little chat to a woman in a health store about cooking with coconut oil. Then I have another nice chat with a girl at a clothing store about some fashion advice and I learn its her last day on the job, I joke about giving me massive discount.
this part below I am very proud of
Then I see a girl I know in the store and we chat for abit. Shes there with a very attractive girl that was in the changing room. I stay specifically to try and meet her. She comes out and I instantly introduce myself. "Hi I'm cazzah" and I put out and hand to shake hers, but her hands are full of bags/cloths and she has to do this awkward shuffle to try and shake my hand. Jokingly I say "oh, awkward handshake" and as she goes to shake my hand, I change it into a fist bump, then back into a handshake. She didn't laugh, but both her friends did. The interaction ended there, but heres what I am proud about. Normally her not laughing would have killed me inside, my inner monologue would have been telling me I'm a loser, I'm awkward, unfunny etc. But instead I naturally just went for the positive. I thought well maybe shes just as intimidated by me and I am of her, she might have been attracted to me and felt unsure what to do, and regardless, I had fun doing what I did. This was a huge step for me, something that would have previously killed me was now nothing but a funny moment.
Then I go to the local supermarket and spot this very attractive black girl working there as a cleaner. Speaking to a friend that works there later I find out shes actually from Africa and is very unusual in a fun way, always dancing and singing around the store and stuff. So I give her a smile and she smiles back, I instantly walk up and ask her name, she tells me and we shake hands, but as I try to talk to her she just kind of dances off in a very aloof kind of fashion. I grab her arm and get in front of her and ask if she is single, she says yes and starts to dance away from me again. So I said "well dont tell me your single and dance away like that" in a fun tone, she turns around and comes back and I just instantly ask if she wants to go out sometime, she sprouts some bullshit about how shes very picky etc so I say well give me your number then, or take mine, and she said she will get mine from a different girl that works there that knows me. Not expecting anything out of it, but was nice to try.
tl:dr used to suck at even basic human interaction, now able to chat away with strangers and even introduce myself to attractive girls. Next goal is to actually approach attractive random girls on the street and try to get some good interactions and maybe numbers/dates
there doesn't seem to be anything here
