I'm pretty new to the game, really trying to conquer my cripling AA and gain the best frame.

I went out solo in my town last night, started quite late (~11pm bars start to shut) went to 5 venues, made 2 approaches. I feel terrible about it.

What advice would you give for solo game and breaking into established groups??
