Okay so I know most of the NYE stories are already out of the way but here's mine. I had to pick up my ex roomate and his gf from the airport on Dec 30th. On the way back from el aeropuerto the gf starts telling me that she wants to hook me up with her ex roomate (a conservative farm girl I've never met). I had already set the wheels turning with another girl for the weekend but whatever I thought. It couldn't hurt to diversify. Fast forward to dinner that night, the girl I'm supposed to be getting hooked up with (I'll call her Bell) is sitting kinda far away. I introduce myself but not much else comes from that. We go out after and I drink a little much but I'm talking to her by the end of the night. She seems to be eatting it up. After bar close we all go back to Bell's place. I don't remember how it happened but I slept in her bed and got a little make out, but nothing else. Good enough. The next night I make more of an effort to engage her sober. This is NYE at this point so everyone is drinking a lot but early in the night it was pretty in control. We go out that night and I can tell shes having fun with me. I ask her if she'll let me kiss her at midnight (in a smooth way, not needy), and later in the same way if I can sleep in her bed again. The eventual answer to both was yes. It's important to note that this girl was pretty introverted. Cute, but not outgoing at all, so I definitely had a hard time determining how she felt about me. I mean we made out and I slept in her bed, which I usually see as a good sign. Later from my ex roomies gf I found out she thought I was cute and funny, but not "her type". Also, and maybe it was because she was so introverted, or maybe my other recent successes, but I was also assuming entitlement hard-core. I don't even remember asking if I could spend the night the first time, I don't think I did. I figure if she really didn't want to let me do those things she would have said something. On the other hand, part of me feels like I just plowed through, and she was too meek to say anything. Not that i would ignore her if she told me to sleep on the couch, she just didn't say anything, so I figured it was a good sign. I was thinking it might be a rapor issue, but I don't really know much about that. Anyway I appreciate any feedback anyone wants to put here. I was wondering if this is a common thing, esp starting out. Like once you get the hang of attraction, but not the next steps. Thanks
