I've been lurking around on seddit for a few months, just soaking up knowledge, but rarely ever put any of it to use(consciously) until last night.

I got off of work and called a few friends to go shoot pool at a local bar nicknamed" The Dungeon". We get there and there are four of us, two guys and two girls, just playing pool and generally having a good time. My male friend goes for a drink and does not return for quite some time. It wasn't until he shouted for me across the billiards area that I notice he had opened a set with an HB 7 and an HB 5. He motions for me and I give him the "just a second" finger and tell our lady friends that I have to go play wing man. They practically pulled out popcorn to watch what we do.

I go over and introduce myself and we get a team game of pool going. It was obvious he wanted the HB7 so I team up with HB5. I was getting plenty of attention from my teammate but I was just not very attracted to her at all. She kept leaning over to expose more cleavage, making sexually charged dual meaning comments, following me around the table, grabbing my ass etc. My main focus was keeping her from cockblocking my friend so I kept up conversation and kino all throughout.

Then something happened that I didn't expect. HB7 started almost ignoring my buddy and started in on me. We talked about dub step, so I invited her to the jukebox to play some music. We were separated from our respective friends for about 3 minutes before HB5 had enough and cut in between us, shortly followed by my buddy.

I needed another drink, so I went back and talked to the ladies we came with for a few minutes. They had apparently had a running commentary on our situation, and let me know what their take on the situation was.

I felt my buddy had enough opportunities at this point so I got their numbers, gave HB5 a hug, then intentionally got HB7's name wrong. As soon as I did, she demanded that I make it up to her in the near future by going to a show with her.

Tl;dr- I learned the true meaning of being outcome dependant, got 2 #s, and basically learned more being a wing man than I ever did by simply sarging.
