Okay, third night out with seddit material, goal was to have a good time and also try to focus on closing, which I didn't do AT ALL in my past two nights.

Worked a 12 hour shift in the morning, and then went to gym for a couple hours after that, so by the time I was taking the bus downtown I was pretty tired, but I made myself open with people to get the ball rolling.

Showed up at the club and was definitely feeling out of place without any alcohol in my system, but I forced myself to approach people and get in the social frame. Grabbed a pint and retreated to the patio for a cigarette where it was less crowded and easier to talk to people.

When it was time for another drink, I started talking to a guy who was waiting behind his friend (HB8) in line for drinks. Another guy starts opening with the HB8, and I'm noticing he's using kino and trying to isolate her. That's when I introduce myself to her with eye contact and a wide smile, and start a conversation. She's from Norway, and hard to understand, and the club was loud, so I use this as an excuse to put my arm around her waist and pull her closer so I can get face to face with her and continue the conversation. It went surprisingly well, although I feel like I could have escalated a bit more. The other guy lost his confidence and walked away to find less competitive game I'd imagine, and her friend was engaged in conversation with another guy, so I had all her attention to myself. About 20 minutes later I asked her if she had a cell phone. She said yes. I then asked if I could have it. What I intended was for her to hand me her phone, and I was going to call my number, but instead she just started giving me her digits. We had a little more banter about the nickname I put her in my phone as, and then I grabbed her hand and pulled her in for a kiss on the cheek, and said I'll talk to you later.

Second girl I closed with was HB6 on the patio when I went for a smoke. I was chatting up a group I had introduced myself to before, and she was just staring off into the street. I approached with "You look like you're having way too much fun over here by yourself, what are you thinking about?", and she smiled and explained something to me. I kept eye contact and smiling, and pulled her into me and started making out with her on the patio. After we made out a bit, I disengaged very quickly and told I had to find my friend (HB7 pivot from my first FR). She didn't like this one bit, and called me a jerk for kissing her and then bouncing. I playfully turned back to her and kissed her again and told me to give me her phone number and I'd text her in a bit to meet up. She gave me a little shit test, saying she'd give me her number if she could have some of my pint, to which I turned around and started walking away. She quickly grabbed me by my sweater and pulled me back, but wouldn't stop trying to grab my pint while I was calling my phone from hers, which was annoying but dealt with easily.

Anyways, I opened up a few more sets that night, and got rejected on a couple, and a couple of them had boyfriends, which I always ask, what's their name, to see if they respond quickly or hesitate.

I texted HB6 when I was getting ready to leave, and we met on the patio for another make out and talked about F-Close at her house, because mine is across town. Everything was seemingly going well, but then she said she had to go back inside for something and I didn't see her for 5 minutes, after which I just texted her and said I was leaving, but nice to meet you.

I'm wondering if it's easy to come off as a jerk using this kind of push/pull, or if that was just her way of rationalizing the unexpected polarity, and how far should you take push/pull before you finally just start pulling? I'm not concerned that I didn't have sex last night, and I've been keeping abundance mentality and outcome independence, even if my life isn't quite that abundant yet, but I feel like I might be a little too outcome independent. At some point I have to have an outcome in mind when I'm escalating with these girls, or else I kind of lose my focus on closing.

Going to go out next weekend again and continue my closing practice. It turns out minimal alcohol is best for me. If I drink too much I never close, but I feel like I still kind of need the alcohol crutch as a form of social solidarity, or else I feel out of place in the busy club scene. Also, I had no interest in dancing last night while relatively sober, whereas I always ALWAYS dance when I'm drinking more.
