Yesterday afternoon when I got off work I was watching a little TV and just decided I would go out. I messaged one of my buddies to see if he was game, and was. I got to our usual bar at around 8:45 and made my way to the bar looking for any potential girls to open on while I waited for him. Alas there wasn't really anyone, so I grabbed myself a pint and headed over to a table near the dart boards.

About 20 minutes later my buddy showed up and we spent the first hour just sitting and chatting as there were people already playing darts. When a board finally opened up we took it over and played about 3 games over a period of the next hour, all the while I was walking back and forth from table/bar area/dart board, keeping an eye out for any new people that came in.

Finally after our 3rd game I noticed 2 girls, both about HB7/HB7.5 come in. I brought them to my buddies attention and he agreed they were definitely cute, one of them after setting her coat/purse down instantly goes to the bathroom and walks past us. My friend doesn't study pua or anything of that, and has very bad AA. We pretty much have to get a girl at the table with us to get him to talk to them, which usually doesn't work out well for him. So my entire goal was to try and get him to just look her in the eyes, smile, and say hi when she returned from the bathroom since she would have to literally walk right past us.

I keep talking about some other things for him to keep in mind and girl walks right past us and he doesn't do anything, so I facepalm. After this my friend is trying to convince me to just go over there with him, I said maybe in a minute I have to piss - so I went to the pisser. Get back, he then has to take a leak. While he is gone I say fuck it and go over and approach both of them by myself. I walked up sort of behind them, then leaned in between and made a comment about what they were drinking. It was $2 pint night, and it looked like they were drinking a light beer. Turns out they were drinking cider, so I just went into talking about some drinks - asked if they had ever had a snake bite before, explained what it was, etc. etc. I stumbled a little bit over some of my words when I first started talking, but it didn't seem to phase them and I quickly overcame it. The blonde girl that was on my right was grinning like crazy and giggling at many of my remarks so that made things easier.

From there the conversation just progressed naturally, when my friend finally got back from the bathroom he tried to get in - I helped introduce him, but neither girl really seemed interested and turned right back to me after giving him their names, which was a big confidence boost for me. shrug sorry buddy! He went back to our table and luckily another friend of ours showed up and was able to keep him company.

They ended up having to leave before too long, which I was about to jet out as well due to having to work today. My tab was at the bar so I pulled out my phone, got it to the contact entry and just handed it to one of the girls, told her to put her # in and pass it to her friend as well so we can hang out again, then just walked to the bar to close my tab. Shortly after we all said bye and left.

My personal critique: The things I did good - kept conversation flowing, made little jests at both the girls equally, kept smiles on their faces, worked on light kino on both girls. At a few different points I made some different comments and how they responded I showed through facial expression I was disappointed in the answer, and one girl jumped at the chance to redeem herself. The conversation was about a previous car, and I probed a couple questions about it - pretty much to find out if it was a manual or automatic, it was a manual. Instantly after she was like "but I know how to drive a 5 speed!" with her friend blurting out "me too!", so I approved and we cheers'd out drinks. This happened a couple other times on other subjects too.

where I could improve: there were a few awkward silences in the conversations early on, but it didn't seem to affect things overall - I realize I may have just been lucky and they didn't seem to care, but I definitely noticed it. Also need to escalate more kino: one girl was accepting my kino well, but not giving any back - maybe she isn't just a touchy person, but she definitely did not mind me. I got very much into her personal space, leaning in on the table (I stood the entire time while they sat on either side of me). I commented about one of their watches, touched their wrist, etc. When walking past I was scooting past and touching their backs. Although I don't think I could have progressed the kino more with them based off the time restraints, but I definitely felt I should have done at least MORE.

All in all I was very happy with myself as I never really approach girls in a set, unless there is someone I know that is part of the group. Got a # close and can now start working on future dates.
