I'm sitting in an airport in Colorado right now for a layover from Chicago so I'm gonna do what I can to keep this shorter for y'all.

I had to go to Chicago for a conference this week and I was only there for two days so I didn't have much time. Days were full but I had the nights open so I went out. I've never been here before and I'm young (20) so it was a great way to try a new challenge of running game in the city sober, so why not right?

I've been "gaming" for a bit now but I do it more for the fun of the chase not to get laid. I enjoy going out on the town and talking to anyone and everyone and being me. So I go out with a couple friends and we spot some girls and they're scared, so I go talk to them. Instant rejection.

Oh well, gotta start somewhere, nowhere to go but up right? Wrong. Next girl? Swiftly shot down. Fuck it let's keep going I'm having fun and I've finally gotten my friends to open up so now it's more of a group.

We spot a group of girls, get to talking and they tell us they're gonna hit some bars and we should join. But we're all underage so that's out, another loss. Tried a couple more times with some groups and single sets and rejected every time.

That ended the first night and I was disappointed honestly, I only have one more night in town so I was gonna stay in and chalk it up to a loss and walk away swinging.

Second night rolls around and I wanna stay in but my friends want to explore more of the city so why not? Can't hurt. We go out to the giant parks in the afternoon and talk to people to get rejected more, but I was having fun so no big deal. Finally after about 10 rejections, I get to talking to a blonde who's a 9 and over 21. We end up making out in the taxi on the way back to my hotel with some beer and we're hanging out and things escalate and ended up F-closing on what I thought was a lost cause of a trip and had a ton of fun in the city. I would've regretted not going out that night but I sacked up and didn't let the previous night get to me and ended the trip on a high note.

TL;DR and morale of the story: Just keep trying boys, you'll have hot nights and cold nights but the worst thing you can do is give up. Go out and have fun and don't let the fear of rejection get you down.

Last note, sorry if this wasn't exciting. I'm completely exhausted from today with the close of the conference and flying. Just wanted to share my experience how I almost gave up but didn't and ended the trip on a high note
