This past weekend, I was hanging out outside a bookstore. I see a 2-set walk out and I approach. An HB7 and an HB8.

It turns out I actually knew the HB7 from a while back. We got re-acquainted and chit-chatted to catch up. I found myself more attracted to the HB8. I casually mentioned to the HB7 that I found her friend cute. That sent them both into a giggle fit.

HB8: Are you serious? (whilst giggling)

Me: Very. This is my serious face! (while motioning my hand up and own my face).

HB7: Thats his everything face!

HB8: Is this real life?

Me: Welcome to my reality!

Then I tried to number close the HB8.

HB8: I dont give out my number that easily! But hey, if you hang out with HB7 often, we can all go out or something!

Me: Me and HB7 never hang out!

Both HB7 and HB8 laugh.

HB8: Maybe someday we can...

Me: So, I suppose you are the middle-man then, HB7.

Then I number-closed HB7. They bid me farewell and left.

Later on I texted HB7 and found out from her that she is leaving town in a couple of days and wont be back until mid-July.

So, should I just place this on the back burner or just move on? There is currently no other way for me to contact HB8 (unless I happen to run into her again, which I doubt I will).
