I recently moved into a new apartment building and noticed that there were some good looking HBs living in my new abode.

About two weeks after I first moved in I ran into one of them (HB7) that had locked herself out of the building.

My building has two doors you need to unlock before you get into the lobby so I let her in the first door and walked next to her to the 2nd. On the way I cracked a joke about how I was paranoid about letting people into the building and some shenanigans I had pulled to avoid doing so. She thought it was a little bit funnier than it was and as she stopped laughing we got to the second door. We stopped in front of it, I looked her up and down and said: "You are probably OK to let in, If I wake up tomorrow in an empty apartment Im gonna be pissed", followed by some strong eye contact and a light touch on the arm. She giggled and walked through the door I had opened for her.

Turns out we both live on the same floor and once we got there I gesture towards my door and say "well this is me". A brief exchange occurs where she reveals she wanted to switch apartments to the one I was renting but it was too expensive. I make a backhand comment about how it is a little on the high side but my house-mate and I make good money so it isn't really a problem. At this point a name exchange occurs (can't remember who initiated it) and she offers me an open invitation to come hang out at her place "If I'm ever bored"

Fast Forward 2 weeks to last night, I had completely forgotten about the open invitation (new job, new place, new city, I have been busy). I forget my keys at work, lucky for me the call box directory in front our building is programmed to call my cell phone so I can get in out of the weather. Standing in front of my door I am lamenting the fact my house mate won't be home for another half hour when I remember HB7 down the hall. I immediately go down the hall and knock on the door explaining my situation asking if I can chill until my house mate gets home. She seems very agreeable and lets me in. She walks into her living room and sits down on her couch which faces the TV. Enter my first dilemma, where do I sit? The options were the couch, which is tiny, so we would be basically on each others laps, and two rolling chairs at desks around the living room. I didn't think I had enough of a foundation to go for the couch and didn't want to make things awkward, so I sat on one of the chairs

Cue 15-20 minutes of talking about random stuff and flirting. I couldn't really escalate any kino without it being awkward given the sitting arrangements but was able to DHV through some stories. (In retrospect I should have manufactured some situations to have us both move around the apartment to get some in). I had pulled out my phone with the intention of texting my house mate to not come by right away when he got home when there was a knock on the door. DOH!

Now I am looking for advice on what to do next. I am torn between waiting a few days, heading over with a shrug + an "Im bored" as an excuse to hang out or asking her out immediately.

Thoughts seddit?

TL;DR Met HB7 locked out of building, let her in. Hung out again after locking myself out. What now?
