Fuck, Seddit.

Today I went to pick up some pizza for myself and some friends. I was definitely not 'in state' or anything, but I was wearing a smooth-as-fuck shirt, my hair looked perfect, and I was in a pretty good mood since the sun was out.

I walk in and the place is empty. After about 5 seconds, this girl about my age comes out to the counter. Before I even look up I put on a big friendly smile (something I've been trying to do a lot everywhere I go, especially with people in shops/restaurants, thanks to Seddit). So I look up and instantly see she's smiling back, at like 3 times the intensity. Seriously. This fucking incredible smile. After looking at her for a few seconds, I think, "jesus, this girl is mind-blowingly cute". Now just to reiterate, I wouldn't say she was like HB10 supermodel hot. She was more on the 'cute' side (which I prefer). Something just told me I could actually get this girl. About 5'6, wearing standard pizzeria uniform - flour-covered hat, hair tied back, and these ridiculous baggy checkered pants. Still cute as fuck.

So I just start with the standard, "Hey, order for <my name>". She looks down at the list of orders for a few seconds, can't seem to find it, looks back up and says "sorry, what's the name?". So I just repeat my first name (at this point I think I should have repeated my first name, and said "and what's your name?" with a smile in a Seddit-inspired way).

The next 20 seconds were just standard. She grabs the pizza boxes, goes to the register, etc. and I pay her. Half of me trying to think of anything worth saying, the other half of me just trying to process how cute she was. She keeps this big smile on her the whole time. I say thanks, go to turn around, open the door and she just shouts something like "enjoy the pizzas!", still with the big smile on her face. I walk out, get into my car, and pretty much just shout "FUCK".

I don't know if she was just being so friendly because it's a high-end pizza place and they're told to treat customers like that, but still... I couldn't even open properly when the girl was already being incredibly friendly.

Why the fuck can't I do this? I've been told (and I think) I'm at least a little above average looking. I get straight As, get on any sports team I want, run a profitable side business, drive a nice car, and my confidence has improved a massive amount around people. But I just CANNOT do this.

TL;DR: I'm a pussy.
