Always wear something for your sake unless you're in a fully committed relationship. You might not be the only one giving her the diddly and its always better safe than sorry IMO when it comes to STI/STD's. She could've even become a carrier of something prior to your first encounter. You already have 2 kids so I assume you also know that no matter what she's on or what protection you use that's always going to be a possibility.

FWB is a tricky one. Every person has to set their own boundaries with the other person. It all depends on what you guys want. Talk to her and see where her head is at maybe? You need to be very open in these situations or else they could turn into a heartbreak if you’re not careful.

Ok, so FWB is a relationship that explicitly says that you're not dating/romantically driven, but you get to have fun when your both in the mood, but you are still friends. So, talking daily and hanging out alot is fine.

Just know that she may never want to make it more than that and your own feelings can certainly bubble up. If you ask if she wants to make it a more committed relationship, she may say no. However, if you find someone else that tickles your fancy, you can go on a date to see if they would like to be in a committed relationship. It would make sense to let her know and to ask what her feelings are about you seeking a new partner, but your decision is your own.

The amount of feelings or emotions involved are between you and her. There are good reasons to keep feelings out of FWB relationships as its not a committed thing, but inevitably anyone you share more than one night with you will have some kind of feelings for. The biggest thing is that your both honest with each other about them and where you want the relationship to go. There is really no "industry standard" for this kind of relationship. You just really get to make it up as you go. I would just say try to keep it casual while its just FWBs.

Honesty, is still the best policy, but it can have consequences as she is also a person with human complexities. Lying just makes the human complexities part worse for everyone.

Also, wrap it if you want to be 100% safe. If you want to be risky that's on you.
