Dude, your post makes me cringe. You have a horrible attitude and that's why you don't succeed with girls. You focus on things about yourself that you can't change, and you basically said you put 90% of girls on a giant pedestal. That's not going to get you anywhere.

Seriously, spend some time here, read the sidebar, read the posts, read everything, and improve yourself as a man. Stop wallowing in a pool of self-pity, pick yourself up, and have the courage to go for what you want in life.

This is gonna be harsh. First off, fuck the goatee, I haven't seen you yet but it's not working. They're all lying to you.

Secondly, stop thinking so much, from that one out of ten blah blah blah (and that's what people start to hear in conversations too when you think too much) crap and just say what's on your mind and don't take it back, don't justify it, just go with it, playing it off as a joke normally works if it's really stupid either way.

Don't take facts, it's not gonna be 1/20 if this is your attitude, that sounds desperate, as a manner of fact don't count, and don't let one rejection get you down, just randomly start talking to girls, don't push, it will lead somewhere. But don't expect one out of 20 will work, that's a terrible fucking attitude for getting girls.

Flirt with all girls, attractive and not attractive, it will help you talk and an aspect of wanting communication over getting a girl will help you, you don't have to date the non attractive ones, but just talk to them anyways, you'll learn some shit.

For asking out a girl, wait until she/you have to leave each other and go with something like "I was having fun we should meet up again blah blah number number" or "hey do you happen to be busy insert date here yada yada we should hang out again", but don't be gentle, don't be like "well i was kinda sorta hoping that maybe cause i was having fun you sorta might of been having fun and you would consider doing something maybe sometime in the future with possibly me cause i like you and I'm acting like a fool right now", if you get her number, fuck it text her the day after but don't ask her out just yet, just talk, bring it up after some good conversations.

If you get a valentine, don't fucking pussy out, go in for the kiss.

A 1/10 does not mean 10% of girls would find you attractive. Try thinking of 1/10 women, and asking guys around to see who finds her attractive (hint: a whole lot fucking less than 10%).

Also, attractiveness doesn't mean as much to most girls as it means to most guys.

The biggest benefit of being attractive is that girls are interested in you beforehand, so it takes a bit less work on getting them interested enough in your personality to go out with you.

As long as you're not unattractive, your appearance won't work against you. You basically start from a clean slate. See a girl you are drawn to? Try talking to her, learning about her. Be nice and genuine. If the conversation goes well, ask if she'd like to do something for Valentine's Day.

A big part of the problem is picking girls that are "out of your league." A 6 or 7 who doesn't stand out still looks nice. No reason to go for the 9s, most of them are dressed up 6s or 7s anyway.

The important thing is to approach a girl with the goal of just having a conversation with her. If the conversation goes well, say "Hey, I really enjoyed talking to you. Would you be interested in meeting up later for ____?"

If you want to be more blunt about it for the occasion, say earlier on in the conversation "So, do you have a Valentine of your own?" and if she responds no, respond something like "Well, that makes two of us. Hey, would you be interested in maybe going somewhere for Valentine's Day? Doesn't have to be like a date or anything, just something more fun than spending the day alone."

No. The first thing you need to do is break society's grip over your mind when it comes to girls. There is nothing special about Valentine's Day. It's just another day.

Also, Valentine's Day is a day for established couples to do something nice for each other. You don't just get a "date" for V-Day. Any girl that agrees to go on a date with you a week before the day is probably hugely desperate and an emotional wreck. Or she's just doing it to be nice.

Finally, the whole point of a date is that its a cautious encounter where you guys get to know each other to decide if you want to get serious. To girls dates are not a big deal, I know lots of girls that just go on one date with guys and then keep it moving. By asking a girl out on Valentine's Day you are putting a lot of pressure on the girl. You are basically saying "I want to go on a date with you, but I want it to be SERIOUS." No no no.

Forget a VD date. VD is for lover's, not daters. Ask someone out for any date but VD. Also, the asking girls out who are out of your league... you don't want to date girls you aren't attracted to but yet... you expect the girls to do it, to date "down" their league?

You're 20, short and not in good physical condition. Women like good physical condition. Lose the gut... it screams "lazy living". Hot girls want a guy who can go all night, not some pudge who can't go 20 minutes without stopping to catch his breath.

If you want the best, you have to be the best. You can ask 1000 hot women to go out and you still won't get a date, forget those odds you mentioned. Women ant the same thing you do... a hot body built by physical fitness. It won't matter that you're short or inexperienced but you must look and feel fit.

If you want hot women, earn them. hit the gym and earn them. They go for other guys because those guys work at getting them.

Give the man the break. He is probably just really frustrated. With that said OP, I do agree with a lot of people here. It is a long journey and takes quite a time to be who you want to be. (Start reading the side bar) The quick solution i can give yoy at your stage is basically find women who looks receptive and lonely and talk to a lot of them. Good luck!
