Tonight I went to a brewhouse in my town, more of a beer garden to be exact. Wehen I got there I noticed that our waitress was more than a little cute. She seemed to be a naturally open and communicative person, but I noticed early on that she and I had a connection.

In general, I don't tend to study seduction that intensely. I started studying years ago just to learn social skills, and I never progressed beyond that. I don't know routines, but I know the principals behind a lot of the concepts in the seduction community. If I had to identify a "guru" I would have said Style/Mystery about a year and a half ago, but for the last eight months, I've been a lot more David Wygant oriented and it's been working out for me amazingly. That still means that I'm an awkward character from time to time. But, more importantly though, it means that I realize all people experience awkwardness from time to time, and I'm able to tell whatever voice in the back of my head that feels that awkwardness to fuck off.

Anyhow, Waitress and I have banter all night. In general, she addresses me as the head of the group instinctively ("Are you guys ok?" "Is there anything you need?" etc., etc. ), which I interpret as a display of interest and acknowledgement of social power. I get her to laugh multiple times at things that I say. There were a couple of times when we both stumbled over our words, and said something stupid. But rather than treating the situation like I had fucked something up, I honestly just acted like myself, and blushed while giving a smiling sideways glance. Kinda hard to describe in writing. Hopefully you get the idea

Anyway, there were times when I could tell that she was talking to me about beer just so that she could be there and talk to me. She would talk to me for minutes at a time, have a customer tap her on the shoulder for some service, and she would give him the "one sec" sign, multiple times in a row. Whatever I had, she was clearly diggin' it.

At the end of the meal, we got our bills and paid for our beer. For a while she was talking to her manager and co-worker, but just before my group was about to leave, they both left her by the cash register.

I took the opportunity to grow a pair of balls, and I just walked up to her, gave a genuine smile, and said "Hey, would you like to go get coffee tomorrow?" It took her all of a half-second to say "yeah." What was funny was that I didn't even know her name yet. I had just acted like myself, and displayed a genuine interest in what she said the entire time, and that was all she needed to say yes to a date. After she and I had been properly introduced, I asked for her phone number. Because she has problems with her phone, I asked for her email address instead. She gave me both her email address, and phone number in the end. She asked my name again, saying "I don't even know your name yet." I laughed and said, "I actually already told you, but it's Dwinian." I could tell that she was a little embarressed, when she said "Oh, I'm really sorry," so I retorted with a "don't worry about it, the only reason I keep my drivers license on me is to remember my own name." She laughed, said I was funny, and we went out seperate ways.

The point is that I don't view this as a chance to get laid, or K-close, or whatever-close this girl. All I did was treat her like a person, and that's all I will do. Women respond to genuine behavior. Try just being yourself. I didn't really incorporate any concrete techniques on game because you don't always need game. Sometimes you just need to grow a pair of balls and rely upon yourself.

Sorry if this is incoherent, I've been drinking a bit tonight.
