I wanted to try to halt her distancing from me, as there has been no interest from her to get back together again, it seemed definitive this time from her side. So I tried to write in a non-desperate way that I wanted another chance with her. Without any over-emotional or giving her any compliments etc. Just a stern attempt to minimize the nice guy impression. I assume this is maybe not the best approach, but that's what I did.
But I made the mistake of talking and joking about the same thing a bit too many times and with a bit too eager attitude (even though I wrote down to myself to go light on the eagerness and jokes) and basically she just left me on read yesterday responding to the first message but not the second, which she has never done before.
