Ok. So here I am, on one side - hating PUA, techniques, openers, pick-up lines, and anything that involves mechanics any different than from putting out your natural interior Don Juan which we all have, solving your emotional issues and just managing to become that better person that you love so much that no encounter can shake. That dude will nail it and will pick up all the girls.

On the other side, me. Loving girls, good social skills (I would say), no problems talking to strangers but huge problems and nervousness expressing my sexual attraction or showing interest to girls, especially strangers, I am guessing I am probably putting to much value into it.

I decided to try out a slow desensitization plan suggest by Mark Manson in the book "Models" where I will layout the following plan and keep you all posted on how it worked, in case you also have AA. I do believe it's a bit far-fetched to throw yourself directly at it if you haven't done it before, and it seems like a better idea to slowly progress. So! Here is my plan:

Monday - Wednesday

• during lunch break I will approach for half an hour as many girls as I can asking dumb questions like the time or directions

• I will not spend more than 2-3 minutes without talking to anyone so that the people I talk to stack up, and reach at least 10 in numbers

Wednesday - Friday

• I will continue doing this but add in extra questions like "How was your day" or, if I get brave enough, even compliment depending on how I will feel

I will keep extending this plan by continuing to edit my post up until I reach the level of actually hitting on the girls. Hopefully, it will help some of the readers here, just in case it works for me.

The thing is, I want to be my natural self at this and not use pick-up lines or techniques. I do, on the other hand, understand the concepts of PUA but I think we should all use our own versions of everything.
